Job Summary
Manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and purchase order management for a stainless steel fastener manufacturer. Prepare comparative statements for finished goods and raw materials, follow up on quotations and deliveries, and coordinate transportation arrangements. Resolve vendor-related concerns regarding shortages, delays, and quality issues while processing bills for vendors and transporters. Generate reports on pending orders and invoices, and handle E-Way Bills and import enquiries. Collaborate with stores, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Report to the Purchase Head in a full-time role with six days of work, up to ₹3.6 LPA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Vendor management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and purchase order management
- Strong coordination and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and ERP software
- Understanding of transportation management and logistics coordination
- Basic knowledge of E-Way Bills and import documentation
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the engineering, hardware, construction, or manufacturing industry
- Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management
- Experience with ERP software and inventory management systems
