Job Summary
Source and procure raw materials, components, and services for precision manufacturing, negotiating pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors. Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base while issuing purchase orders and tracking order status to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams, monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, and ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies. Conduct vendor evaluation and performance tracking to support uninterrupted production. Requires BE in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of procurement experience.
Required Qualifications
- BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement within manufacturing
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and email communication
- Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
