Job Summary
Execute the full purchase order lifecycle within SAP, monitoring lead times to prevent stockouts and maintaining accurate product master data, pricing, and vendor information. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring procurement requests include all required details before processing and providing timely updates on order status and supply chain disruptions. Coordinate with warehouse teams for timely receipt of goods, resolve delivery discrepancies, and manage vendor quotations and issue resolutions. Monitor inventory levels to optimize carrying costs and ensure all procurements comply with company policies and formal purchasing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of one year of professional procurement or purchasing experience
- Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, report generation, and formula usage)
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace applications (e.g., Gmail, Google Sheets, Drive, and Slides)
- Excellent Communication: Ability to translate technical or operational needs into clear communications for vendors, and provide professional feedback to internal departments regarding procurement processes
- Organizational & Problem Solving: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment, and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain high standards while building collaborative relationships across departments and with vendors
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work in an environment that may have exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors
- Schedule flexibility may occasionally be required based on business needs
