Job Summary
Provide virtual foreign language instruction across listening, reading, and speaking (L/R/S) and regional/cultural instruction using blended-learning methods; develop lesson plans and instructional materials; assess and adapt lessons for ILR levels 0+ to 3; review and provide feedback on assignments; maintain a professional online learning environment; collaborate with Managers/Coordinators to address curriculum gaps; requires US citizenship and ILR 3/3/3 or equivalent, with DLPT/OPI/ACTFL credentials or certifications as demonstrated by evaluation; preferred experience with online learning platforms (e.g., CL-150, Canvas, Moodle) and a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Educated native speaker (ILR 3/3/3 or equivalent)
- Experience in virtual foreign language instruction
- Understanding of cultural, social, and political environment of the region
- Experience creating blended learning lessons and tailoring materials
- Access to computer with Windows, webcam, headset with microphone, internet
