PUNCH PRESS OPERATOR

Set up and operate turret equipment to punch and prepare material for job orders consistent with customer requirements. Review job orders to determine specifications, modify computer programs, and set tooling. Perform incoming and first-piece inspections on sheared and punched material, documenting non-conforming items and obtaining clearance before continuing. Operate the machine at an appropriate tempo to meet production quantities while maintaining quality standards. Deliver finished product to the next operation, order tooling parts as needed, and assist in all other areas of the cell. Work safely using required personal protective equipment.
