Job Summary
Operate punch press equipment to produce parts at-rate and accurately to print; perform basic material handling and crane operations to load/unload raw materials; train and mentor Production Helpers and Punch Press Operators; assist in machine setup; record labor, inventory, and job data in ERP; maintain equipment and ensure quality parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparator; perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- three to six months prior relevant manufacturing experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, specifications, and memos
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other employees
- Able to utilize computer and input data
- Ability to interpret part prints
- Ability to accurately measure a manufactured part using basic metrology equipment (i.e. caliper, micrometer)
