Job Summary
Monitor and maintain rod pump wells, GAPL, flowing gas wells, Dehy's, Glycol Pumps, Transfer Pumps, Vapor Recovery units, Combustors, Batteries, and Satellites. Log data, check and test gauges, perform minor repairs, and circulate and treat production fluids. Handle dump valve maintenance, replacement, and chemical pump operations. Work an 8/6 schedule within a Wood Client company field in Snook, Texas, with a 50-mile radius requirement. No supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years oilfield experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical applications
- PEC Safeland Certification
- H2S Training
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently under little supervision
- Basic math skills
- Responsible and diligent
- Safety-conscious
- Personal computer experience or willingness to learn
- Previous oilfield experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Must live within a 50 mile radius
- Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to satisfy Department of Justice requirements with or without assistance
