Job Summary
Log operating data, check gauges, and perform minor repairs on pumps and vessels. Turn valves to regulate flows of gases, liquids, or slurries, and plan product movement through pipelines to processing and storage units. Read operating schedules or receive verbal orders to determine pumping amounts, then clean, lubricate, and repair equipment using hand tools. Connect hoses and pipelines prior to material transfer, and collect sample solutions for laboratory analysis. Requires 8+ years of experience with an 8/6 schedule and 10-hour days. - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
- Good knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
