Job Summary
Pump/Turbine Mechanic responsible for disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines; diagnose mechanical issues, perform troubleshooting, and execute precision alignment; collaborate with engineers to meet client specifications and timelines; read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics; adhere to safety guidelines and maintain organized work environments; document findings and stay updated on industry best practices. Requires 3–5 years of hands-on rotating equipment maintenance experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical components
- Knowledge of precision alignment techniques (e.g., laser alignment) and vibration analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial tools, machinery, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or a related field are a plus
