Job Summary
Drive a 32-meter Schwing pump truck to construction sites and perform setup, operation, and teardown while potentially driving ready mix if the pump is unused. Complete daily inspections of the truck and maintain the equipment. Adhere to all company, OSHA, and MIOSHA safety regulations while wearing required personal protective equipment including reflective vests, boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs. This role involves dispatch to specific locations daily at the Traverse City plant.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license, CDL with airbrake endorsement
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- Proven ability to work with customers
- Ability to maintain and service the truck and equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from various people
- Willingness to comply and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety rules
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly orally and in writing
- Possess effective time management and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years previous experience preferred but not required
