Job Summary
Pump Truck Driver operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, collecting waste from portable sanitation units and depositing contents into the truck; conducts pre-operation safety checks; refuels and performs basic maintenance; coordinates with mechanics for service; transports waste to processing or disposal locations; notifies dispatch of delays or issues and maintains pickup, mileage, and dump logs; opportunity to perform other related duties. Requires ability to pull trailers, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate in various weather conditions; CDL is preferred. Full-time role based in Tallahassee, FL with overtime/weekend availability during storm season. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- CDL License preferred
- Must be able to pull trailers
- 3 years of required commercial driving experience
- 5 years preferred
- Must be at least 25 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends during Storm season
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck
- Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be located in the greater Tallahassee/Midway Area
