Job Summary
Pump Truck Driver operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit contents into the truck. Responsibilities include performing pre-operation safety checks, refueling and basic maintenance, transporting waste to processing or disposal sites, and notifying dispatchers of delays or issues. Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs. Requires valid driver’s license; CDL license preferred; 3 years of commercial driving experience (5 years preferred). Must be located in the greater Sorrento area; ability to work in various weather conditions and to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- CDL License preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck required
- 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years preferred
- Experience with towing trailers (16-foot or larger) preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
