Job Summary
Operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit contents into the truck; hooks up and pulls trailers; performs pre-operation safety checks; refuels and maintains the truck; transports waste to processing/disposal sites; coordinates with dispatchers on delays, incidents, and daily logs; maintains pickup and mileage logs; performs related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of required commercial driving experience
- 5 years required
- Must be at least 25 years of age or older
- TWIC card preferred
- CDL license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- A valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck is required
- Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends) when needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be located in the Lake Charles, LA Area
