Job Summary
Portable Restroom Driver/Operator operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck. Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle, refuels, and performs basic maintenance. Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs; notifies dispatchers of delays or issues; transports waste to processing/disposal locations. Requires ability to pull trailers, 3+ years of commercial driving, and ability to work overtime and weekends; high school diploma preferred; valid driver's license; capable of lifting 50 lbs; operates in various weather conditions; participates in basic truck maintenance and coordination with dispatch and maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pull trailers
- 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years required
- Must be at least 25 years of age or older, due to insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the Storm season.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck is required.
- Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends) when needed.
- Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
