Job Summary
Portable Restroom Driver/Operator operates the pump truck on predetermined routes to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck. Responsibilities include hooking up and pulling trailers, performing pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle, refueling and basic maintenance, transporting waste to processing/disposal sites, and notifying dispatch of delays or issues. Maintains logs of pickup times and mileage; performs other related duties as assigned. Requires ability to work overtime and weekends during storm season; located in the Greater Baton Rouge/Port Allen, LA area. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CDL license preferred; valid driver’s license required; ability to lift 50 lbs and operate truck in varied weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of required commercial driving experience (5 years required)
- Must be at least 25 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- A valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck is required
- CDL license preferred
- Ability to work overtime and weekends during the Storm season
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
