Job Summary
The Pump Tech is an entry-level role responsible for assisting with the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water pumps. The role involves driving equipment to job sites, performing maintenance on service trucks and machinery, and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license, preferably with a CDL A or B. Experience in construction or similar outdoor industries is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel and be away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time
Desired Qualifications
- CDL A or B preferred
- Mechanically inclined, experience with hydraulic pumps a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in small teams
- Dependable and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
