Job Summary
Lead Pump & Power projects by motivating crew members, creating accurate timelines, and delegating tasks for setup, tear-down, and execution of bypass pumping, generator, and water restoration jobs. Represent Sunbelt in customer and internal communications while maintaining documentation through daily logs and progress reports. Manage tools and supplies, assist with shop and yard cleanliness, and handle deliveries and pickups during non-project hours. Requires Class A CDL, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and ability to lift 100 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Equipment knowledge and troubleshooting – pumps, generators, power distribution, a/c, heater, and shoring
- Strong Mechanical background preferably in a similar industry
- Strong leadership skills with a history of previous success
- Construction background
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic equipment operating skills – forklift, skid loader, etc.
- Must be able to perform physical labor and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work indoors
- Must be able to work outdoors
