Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Pump Service Mechanic to perform inspections, maintenance, installation, and repairs of pumping equipment. Candidates must have strong mechanical skills and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to think out of the box
- Problem solving skills
- Provide recommendations to engineering
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to drive larger company vehicles (under CDL)
- Certifications for Confined Space and Crane Truck operation
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient at steel and copper piping
- Reading schematics, isometrics, exploded views, wiring diagrams and machine drawings
- Understanding of machine tolerances
- Laser alignment
- Troubleshooting electrical control panels, motors, drives, pumps, and valves
- Previous experience in the pump repair industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industrial tools and equipment
- Knowledge of different pump types, brands and models
