Job Summary

Inspect, operate, and perform basic maintenance on pumps, reverse units, and related pumping equipment, including repacking high-pressure pumps and servicing valves. Rig up and rig down pump iron, suction hoses, and data cables safely, while operating equipment for pumping processes and treatment procedures. Walk lines to verify flow direction and operate valves, communicating position changes clearly. Move, load, and secure equipment using forklifts and manlifts when trained, maintaining tools and ensuring a clean, organized work area with spill prevention. Participate in safety meetings, report unsafe conditions, and work cooperatively with crew members and customers. Requires a Class A CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Works 12-hour shifts on a 14/7 rotation with approximately 70% travel at rig sites in all weather conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class A CDL
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Hazmat endorsement
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Tanker endorsement
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Ability to perform team lifts up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift
  • Ability to climb ladders up to approximately 20 rungs/feet
  • Sufficient grip strength, approximately 80–100 lbs per hand
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to perform basic job-related calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Successful completion of company pre-employment requirements, including drug/alcohol screening
  • Successful completion of criminal background check
  • Successful completion of motor vehicle record review
  • Respirator clearance
  • DOT physical based on CDL, safety-sensitive, and essential job-function requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Some college or technical training
  • Minimum of one (1) year of pump-down, reverse-unit, or related oilfield service experience
  • Experience operating high-horsepower pumping equipment safely and professionally
  • Experience with pumping equipment operating systems, such as Dragon, Rolligan, Lime, or similar systems
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a laptop and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for communication, tickets, and data entry
  • Reliable communication
  • Reliable transportation to report to assigned work locations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended shifts, travel, and time away from home as required by operational needs
  • Ability to work outdoors at rig sites in all weather conditions, including temperature extremes, uneven walking surfaces, high-noise environments above 85 dBA, and potential H2S/hazardous-material exposure
