Job Summary
Pump Operator operates and maintains high-horsepower pumps and related equipment on oilfield service crews, rigs up/rigs down equipment, performs maintenance on pumps and accessories, ensures safe operation, communicates with crew, adheres to safety procedures, and uses basic computer tools for ticketing and data tasks. Requires CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, a High School diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of pump-down or reverse-unit experience; comfortable working extended hours away from home and in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); some college is a plus.
- Class A CDL, and able to get Hazmat, and Tanker Endorsement.
- Ability to perform maintenance service on the engine and pump and experience running high horsepower equipment in a safe, and professional manner.
