Job Summary
Entry Level Pump Mechanic responsible for maintenance, repair, and installation of various pumps (centrifugal, gear, vacuum, metering, diaphragm, progressive cavity) and related equipment. Performs shaft alignment, vibration analysis, seal installation, diagnostics of rotating equipment, and upkeep of records. Requires knowledge of mechanical seals, PPE/LOTO procedures, safety-safe operations in hazardous environments, and ability to operate forklifts/MEWPs. Collaboration with senior mechanics and operations personnel to ensure equipment reliability and safety; after-hours call-ins and compliance with maintenance programs and CMMS records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-years experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Forklift and MEWP Certification desired.
