Job Summary
Maintain and repair rotating equipment in refinery operations, including performing routine maintenance on various pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating, gear, diaphragm), inspecting/cleaning/lubricating components, diagnosing and troubleshooting leaks/vibrations/noises, performing repairs/overhauls (seals, bearings, impellers, gaskets), ensuring proper pump alignment with motors/engines, conducting tests to verify performance, adhering to safety and environmental guidelines, maintaining accurate CMMS records, implementing preventive maintenance, coordinating with maintenance personnel and engineers, and providing training to junior mechanics; requires high school diploma and 3+ years of industrial rotating equipment experience, OSHA/MSDS/LOTO knowledge, ability to read technical drawings, and willingness to work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in an industrial setting on rotating equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and requirements
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce company rules and regulations as well as OSHA standards and requirements
- Must be willing to work overtime and respond immediately to call-outs
- Knowledge of MSDS
- Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Mechanical inclination and knowledge in hydraulics
