Job Summary
Repair, rebuild, and install pumps and rotating equipment by reading schematics, following blueprints, and performing precision measurements. Safely operate hand and power tools, shop equipment, and lifting gear while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to all safety rules. Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity, complete documentation for work orders and inspection notes, and ensure repairs meet exact standards. This steady, process-driven role supports industrial and municipal clients with opportunities for skill development and overtime pay. Travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial equipment repair, mechanics, manual machining, or related trades
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret schematics/blueprints and follow standard operating procedures
- Comfortable with physical work: lifting, standing, bending, and working around industrial equipment
- Willingness to travel as needed (some fully paid travel with overtime)
- A valid drivers license or state issued ID
