Job Summary
Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools while performing routine inspections, Tier 4 engine maintenance, and rebuilding pump components. Rebuild or repair engines and emissions systems, maintain detailed equipment records, and operate hand and power tools safely at customer locations. Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for urgent repairs, travel approximately 50% of the time, and work independently in both shop and field environments across all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of diesel repair experience or equivalent training
- Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity of Engine diagnostic tools and Electrical components
- Must be willing to learn and be part of a growing Team
- This role operates in both shop and field environments and requires the ability to work in all weather conditions
- Travel to job sites as needed (approx. 50%)
Desired Qualifications
- Tier 4 engine and emission system knowledge preferred
