Job Summary
Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools while performing routine inspections and Tier 4 engine maintenance. Rebuild or repair engines, emissions systems, and pump components, maintaining detailed records and reporting equipment conditions to the manager. Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely, adhering to all safety procedures and environmental standards. Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and travel to job sites approximately 50% of the time to perform urgent repairs at customer locations. This field-based role supports FieldForce diesel equipment operations from the Trevose, PA branch.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of diesel repair experience or equivalent training
- Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity of Engine diagnostic tools and Electrical components
- Must be willing to learn and be part of a growing Team
- This role operates in both shop and field environments and requires the ability to work in all weather conditions
- Travel to job sites as needed (approx. 50%)
Desired Qualifications
- Tier 4 engine and emission system knowledge preferred
