Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel engines, pumps, generators, trailers, and heavy equipment while performing preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Service Pioneer, Godwin, Cornell pumps, industrial engines, fusion machines, and construction equipment in both shop locations and field job sites. Complete work orders, order parts and fluids, coordinate warranty repairs, and maintain organized service vehicles and inventory. Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations for after-hours emergency repairs while adhering to all safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3+ years of diesel engine diagnosis, repair, and maintenance experience
- Previous experience performing field service or on-site equipment repairs
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of diesel engines, centrifugal pumps, trailers, mechanical systems, and heavy equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate company service vehicles
- Willingness to participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience servicing Caterpillar, John Deere, Deutz, or Kohler industrial engines
- Experience with Pioneer, Godwin, and Cornell pumps
- Experience servicing McElroy Fusion Machines
- Experience working on construction equipment, forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, and dozers
- Oil & Gas, construction, industrial equipment, or field service experience
- Personal mechanic hand tools
