Job Summary
Packaging Business Development Manager will drive growth for engineered system solutions by expanding market presence, engaging existing RP customers and new prospects, and shaping commercial strategies. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends and competitor activities (including pricing strategies for competitiveness), identifying target customers for engineered system packages, developing market-entry strategies for new regions, building and maintaining relationships with engineers, procurement, and buying influencers, conducting high-level technical-commercial meetings and presentations, transferring market intelligence to RP’s global sales engineering teams to support regional growth, and acting as the main point of contact during early project development stages. Collaboration spans external Sales Engineers, internal Sales Engineers, Sales Management, Operations, Field Services, and Legal. Required skills include strong communication, relationship-building, MS Office proficiency, analytical thinking and problem-solving, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Degree in business management or engineering or equivalent discipline is required.
