Job Summary
Deliver and maintain the company's fleet of fluid transfer pumps by performing mechanical servicing, fault finding, and installation/de-installation at customer sites. Repair rental equipment and hand over units to clients while instructing them on correct usage. Monitor parts inventory to maintain minimum stock levels and provide guidance to other operation team members. Participate in the on-call system and make occasional overnight trips as required. This role requires a B driving license and technical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance experience, preferably with bias towards fluid transfer processes and products - both diesel, electric and air driven
- Essential that you have a technical background in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Experience with plant and equipment hire business
- Driving license B
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be IT literate
- Willingness to make occasional overnight trips
- Opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work
