Pump Division Manager

Job Summary
Oversee all relevant company processes and systems while tracking operational costs and managing the Departmental Income Statement. Conduct production meetings and pre-job briefs with team leads to review job expectations, then direct correspondence with customers and vendors. Mentor mechanics and machinists to complete high-quality repairs on horizontal split case, overhung, vertical turbine, and vertical centrifugal pumps. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Transportation, Purchasing, Field Service, and Executive Management teams. Requires 10 years of hands-on pump repair experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and 5S principles. Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 4 PM shift in Chesapeake, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with pump repair and supervision
- Proficiency in standard computer programs and software (MS Office, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of various pump types and repair techniques
- Strong understanding of LEAN Manufacturing techniques and 5S Principles
