Job Summary
Pulpit Operator - Shear at CMC in a steel fabrication environment. Responsibilities include assisting maintenance personnel, communicating potential production issues and operational needs, ensuring equipment inspection reports are completed each shift, performing daily housekeeping, staying alert to unsafe conditions, troubleshooting problems, following safety rules and PPE, and supporting continuous improvement. The role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, potentially involving overhead crane operations, rotating shifts (including weekends and holidays), and tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, basic computer use, and being dependable with attendance and task completion.
