Pulmonary Stepdown Registered Nurse

Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting status changes. Perform prescribed procedures and administer medications while monitoring responses. Document care administration in patient medical records timely and thoroughly. Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Collaborate with medical providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and serve as an advocate for patient experience. This role requires one year of RN experience and an ADN or BSN, with current NC licensure and BLS certification. Located in Asheville, NC, Mission Hospital serves as a regional tertiary care center and Magnet-designated facility.
