Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical services to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers on pulmonary and renal inpatient units. Advise staff regarding drug interactions, contraindications, and relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Deliver drug information to support patient care for adults and geriatrics as part of the healthcare team. Work a rotating schedule from 0730 to 2000 with weekend requirements on a rotating basis. This role integrates patient-oriented clinical services with traditional drug control activities at Northside Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Good communication skills
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
