Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse - Nights (Saint Louis)

Provide direct patient care for individuals with acute conditions including pre and post lung transplant, pulmonary hypertension, and ventilator-dependent patients. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice nurses, and a multidisciplinary therapy team. Educate patients and families on illness management, home care needs, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and communicate care plans across the continuum of care. Work 12-hour night shifts on weekends and holidays with a 1:3 patient ratio in a 9-bed unit.
