Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse - Nights - Part time at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (Saint Louis, MO). Provides direct patient care for acute medical conditions in a 9-bed PPCU with private rooms, including pre and post lung transplant, pulmonary hypertension, ventilator-weaning, and specialized drips. Works 12-hour night shifts with a 1:3 patient ratio, part-time schedule, weekend and holiday rotations. Sign-on bonus of $7,500 eligible. CCRN exam eligible after 2 years. The unit operates within a Magnet-certified hospital environment and emphasizes professional development, leadership, collaboration, education, and service excellence. The role involves education of patients and families, participation in patient safety and regulatory compliance activities, and coordination of care plans with an interprofessional team. The unit is supported by an Advanced Practice Nurse and multiple physicians, with a multidisciplinary team including case management, social work, physical therapy, dietitian, and pharmacist.
