Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse on days provides direct patient care on a 9-bed unit focused on acute pulmonary conditions including pre/post lung transplant and pulmonary hypertension. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care; educating patients and families; ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance; collaborating with an interprofessional team; and supporting professional development. The role supports a 12-hour day shift with a 1:3 patient ratio, on a Magnet-designated unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus eligible and CCRN exam eligibility after 2 years.
