Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit RN – Days. Provides direct patient care on a 9-bed PPCU with 12-hour day shifts and a 1:3 patient ratio, on a Magnet Hospital. Highlights include a $15,000 sign-on bonus eligible, CCRN exam eligible after 2 years, and a safety-sensitive role. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care; educating patients and families; promoting patient safety and quality; developing individual care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team; and ongoing professional development. Education required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree with RN Licensure; Bachelor’s degree preferred. The unit cares for patients with acute medical conditions such as pre/post lung transplant, pulmonary hypertension, ventilator weaning, and related therapies, supported by a multidisciplinary team.
