Pulmonary - NP/PA - Full-Time

Job Summary

Obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, document findings, and prepare care plans for acute and chronic pulmonary patients in inpatient, outpatient, and LTACH settings. Prescribe medications and order appropriate tests and procedures. Attend practice meetings, contribute to policy development, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Manage both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care while rotating through emergency and critical staffing shortages as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
  • North Carolina license
  • North Carolina DEA
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Certification as an ACNP from a nationally recognized certifying body
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs
  • Acute care master's degree or doctorate in nursing practice (for Nurse Practitioners)

Desired Qualifications

  • 1- 2 years of APP experience
  • Post graduate Pulmonary Medicine fellowship
  • Pulmonary Medicine experience
