Assess patient conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, promptly identifying and reporting status changes. Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care and therapeutic responses to medications. Administer prescribed medications and take appropriate action for unintended responses. Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipating needs. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures to ensure complete understanding. Maintain current licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and hold a BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
