Job Summary
Evaluate and treat pulmonary patients in an inpatient setting by taking histories, conducting physical examinations, and recording data in patient records. Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries while preparing comprehensive patient workups. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to deliver direct patient care services. Collaborate closely with physicians and other Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers within the clinical team. Requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification, or licensure as a Nurse Practitioner approved by the State of Georgia with National Certification. This role is part of Piedmont Healthcare's leading pulmonary program.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
