PULMONARY FUNCTION RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (PRN)

Administer aerosolized drugs, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response situations with airway management and ventilator care. Perform oxygen and emergency rounds, conduct diagnostic testing in the Blood Gas Laboratory, and execute procedures including IPPB, postural drainage, and incentive spirometry. Provide education to patients, families, and physicians on rehabilitation and home care techniques. Maintain laboratory quality control, implement infection control processes, and participate in quality improvement activities. Work as a PRN or pool position on an as-needed basis.
