Job Summary

Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Physician role within the U.S. Army health care team. You will examine and treat patients with respiratory diseases and manage adults in the ICU, supporting humanitarian missions and leadership training while earning a competitive benefits package. Eligible candidates have an MD or DO from a U.S. medical school, a current U.S. medical license, board eligibility, completion of internship, and training in pulmonary medicine; must be a U.S. citizen between 21 and 42 years old; postings indicate El Paso, TX.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
  • Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
  • Completion of a training program in pulmonary medicine
  • Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis)
  • U.S. citizenship
