Job Summary
Complete pulmonary assessments and evaluations for residents enrolled in the pulmonary program while monitoring respiratory status to identify changes requiring intervention. Develop, implement, and update individualized pulmonary care plans and coordinate respiratory interventions. Serve as the primary pulmonary resource and communication leader for the facility, providing ongoing education, coaching, and support to nursing, therapy, and respiratory staff. Requires a current Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT license in good standing and BLS certification. This role focuses on clinical excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and preventing avoidable hospitalizations within the long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care
- Leadership, supervisory, or program development experience
