Job Summary
Parts Puller position at Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. serving as an initial point of contact between the factory and customers. Responsibilities include pulling stocked particleboard, painted or non-painted parts in the correct order using paperwork and color-coded labels, using chop saw/table saw (and other machinery) to cut or machine parts, and learning basic product knowledge. The role requires good hand-eye coordination, reading labels, interpersonal skills, and adherence to safety and work processes. There is a progression path to Parts Puller 2 after 1+ year of experience or equivalent training. Training may include learning various paint/stain colors and wood species; requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Education: High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of equivalent experience
- Must be able to read paperwork and/or labels
- Proficient in reading a tape measure
- Ability to stay on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter who works well and can follow a list of daily work assignments
- Willingness to learn new woodworking processes and paint/stain colors
