Job Summary
Assist in pulling freight from the warehouse to the set-up area, unpacking and inspecting items for damage. Report any visible damage to a supervisor and complete repairs such as peeling laminate, fixing damage, and relaminating. Write case lists to document contents packed on skids or in crates. Assemble exhibits following blueprints while maintaining a clean and orderly work area. This role requires the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16", lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and work required overtime in a fast-paced environment. Located at MC²'s Kingman, AZ facility, the team designs and builds exhibit spaces for top global brands.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16 ".
- Must be able to communicate clearly and articulately
- Be willing to learn new skills and have a positive attitude
- Must work required overtime in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers
- Writing and reading comprehension
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds
