Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities for geriatric population; diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans; apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; collaboration with psychiatric team; requires Colorado nursing license in psychiatry and Colorado pharmacy license to prescribe controlled substances (DEA); 1 year of geriatric psych experience in SNF/acute rehab; Spanish fluency a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
- Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience.
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
