Job Summary
The Account Executive will master SHI’s value proposition to exceed revenue and profit goals by developing targeted sales approaches, identifying opportunities, and building relationships with existing and new customers. Responsibilities include cold calling, meetings, networking, pipeline creation, collaborating with internal support teams and external partners, and communicating SHI’s portfolio of products, solutions, and capabilities. The role requires understanding customer IT priorities, positioning SHI’s offerings, staying informed on industry trends, and participating in local/regional industry events to drive market awareness. The candidate should demonstrate strong consultative sales skills, relationship management, negotiation, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities to meet quarterly and annual targets. Travel to customer sites and events is expected, with a mix of in-office and remote work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales experience
- Travel to customer sites within dedicated territory
- Currently hold or have the ability to obtain required sales and/or technical certifications within first 90 days of employment
