Job Summary
Laborer for Utility Construction within the City of Nacogdoches Public Works: perform installation, replacement, repair and maintenance of water and sewer lines; assist with taps, pipe laying, backfilling and site compaction; operate equipment including sewer rodders, jackhammers, trenchers and boring machines; install and repair hydrants and meter valves; work on a rotation with the call-out crew; comply with safety training and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) or more years of experience in utility maintenance and/or construction OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver license
