Job Summary
Operate light to heavy equipment to maintain City streets, handle solid waste collection, and manage water, sanitary, and stormwater systems. Maintain and service these systems safely while adhering to union collective bargaining agreement terms. Requires a High School Diploma, CDL B with Air Brake endorsement, and CDL A within six months of hire. Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction, or landscape construction is preferred. Starting rate is $23.50/hour with a six-month probationary period.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake endorsement
- CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction or landscape construction
