Required Qualifications

• •Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• •Annual driver's abstract in excellent standing

• •Maintains a high level of confidentiality and uses discretion on all matters relating to the affairs of the Westbank First Nation
• •Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work, overtime and emergency call outs
• •Knowledge of plan reading, pipe locating, and map reading (paper and digital)
• •Being part of the rotating on-call schedule
• •Responding to after hour calls within a 20-minute response time
• •Taking corrective action as required
• •Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Westbank First Nation laws, policies, standards and procedures
• •Follows the health, safety and environmental program and protocols

• •Knowledge and previous experience operating various pieces of equipment such as small tractors, chainsaws, jackhammers, compressors, tamping machines, snow blowers, weed eaters, lawnmowers, saws, a variety of hand tools

Desired Qualifications

• •Valid Class 1 or Class 3 BC Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement
• •Landscape horticulture certificate
• •Hydro-vac experience
• •Heavy equipment training/experience
• •High school diploma or equivalent
