Job Summary
Operate pneumatic and hand tools, light equipment, and trucks to perform maintenance, construction, and repair tasks on streets, sidewalks, and alleys. Compile and mix materials, construct forms, lay cement, and finish surfaces while digging ditches, backfilling trenches, and installing storm drain pipes. Break and repair concrete and asphalt, perform hot patching, and setup traffic warning devices for control. Maintain records, log work performed, and trim weeds or pick up litter. Respond to public inquiries courteously and work in extended periods of unfavorable weather conditions. This safety-sensitive role requires a valid Texas Driver's License, high school diploma, and two years of preferred maintenance experience.
